Hoping to do for hardware what has been done for software, AlphaLab Gear, the new technology development accelerator from Innovation Works, opened its new space in East Liberty Monday.

“The lines between software and hardware are starting to blur,” said Rich Lunak, president and CEO of Innovation Works. “Just as AlphaLab was very progressive and innovative in being one of the first software accelerators in the U.S. when it launched, with AlphaLab Gear we feel that once again we are launching a program that is on the front end of very big trends.”
