On Friday, I had the chance to stop by AlphaLab Gear’s new space in East Liberty and meet with some of the first teams inducted into the program.
FreshTemp: Founder and CEO Jeff Rieger said the idea behind FreshTemp’s product is to digitize temperature logs for restaurants and other industries that must keep an active temperature log. Automating the process with a wireless temperature sensor, Rieger said not only is it more efficient, eliminating the need for paper records, but also it is more accurate than traditional methods.
