Jamy Rankin

Ford Component Sales

Jamy P. Rankin recently retired as president and chief executive officer, Ford Component Sales, LLC a wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company.  In this capacity she had profit and loss responsibility for component sales to other OEM’s and the aftermarket.

Born in New York, and raised in Pittsburgh, she has a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a master’s degree in Marketing from the University of Chicago.

Mrs. Rankin was awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award in 2014 from the University of Pittsburgh School of Industrial Engineering.   She is a member of the board at Bronner Brothers Inc.  She is also a member of the board of visitors at Howard University School of Business.  She is a member of the Executive Leadership Council, and a Life member of the National Black MBA Association.  In 2013 Ms. Rankin was named one of the top women in the automotive industry by On-Wheels magazine.   In 2002, she received the National Women of Color Technology Award.

Mrs. Rankin is married to Robert Rankin and they have four children.  They currently reside in Pittsburgh, PA.
