Mara has plenty of background in product management and design. She is an industry executive with a deep understanding of medical devices. She has developed, commercialized and driven market growth for giants such as Johnson & Johnson, Philips Healthcare, as well as early-stage companies.

She is currently the Vice President of Product and Medical Devices at LifeX Ventures. LifeX Ventures help entrepreneurs develop products that have the potential to reduce global suffering and mortality.

Mara received her bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering at University of California, Berkley and her MBA at Carnegie Mellon University.
