Marcie is a technical marketing professional with extensive hands-on experience in strategic and product marketing and marketing communications, particularly within the MEMS and semiconductor industry. During her tenure at Akustica from 2002-2016, she defined and introduced Akustica’s first products and developed relationships with its first customers and partners. Marcie positioned both the company and its products as it transitioned from a small start-up in Pittsburgh to a business-unit of a global company when it was acquired by Robert Bosch North America. In addition to her 14 years as a technical marketing professional, Marcie also holds a doctorate in solid-state physics and was a senior member of the technical staff at Draper Laboratory. Altogether, her background gives her the unique ability to be able to speak with both engineering and marketing teams at the proper level and communicate highly technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. She is now working as a Marketing Consultant for Aspinity Inc as well as Bosch.
