

Peter Finley
Peter Finley has broad experience in private equity and in startup businesses. He has focused on startup businesses in St. Louis since 2008, as a partner in Prosper Women Entrepreneurs Accelerator, which since 2015 has invested $50K in 10-12 women-led businesses annually; since 2010 as the founding COO and CFO of Observable Networks, a cybersecurity B2B SaaS business; as Interim CFO at Pulse Theraupeutics, a medical device business providing magnetic technology for stroke treatment; and as an angel investor. Before that, he had 25 years of experience investing private equity in over 35 middle-market companies, where his investments generated an average return of 5-6x investment over an average of 5-6 years. He co-founded and was Managing Principal of Thompson Street Capital Partners, a lower-middle-market private equity firm managing $450 mm in institutional funds, and held several positions culminating with Senior Managing Director at Harbour Group, a St. Louis-based private equity firm. He has served on the Boards of Thompson Street, Harbour Group, two public companies (OmniQuip and Greenfield Industries), Observable Networks and numerous private companies. Prior to joining Harbour Group, he was a senior associate with Marakon Associates, a strategic consulting firm. a financial analyst with Morgan Stanley, and a summer consultant at Bain & Co. He earned an MBA from Stanford and a BA from Princeton.
