Tracy Kobeda Brown
Tracy Kobeda Brown is an experienced start-up and corporate executive. She graduated from Wharton undergrad in 1994 and joined Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). After several consulting positions, she took a position with American Eagle Outfitters and built ae.com during the dot com boom and bust. After discovering some anomalies in web transactions, she began focusing on fraud, credit card transactions and chargebacks. She partnered with the FBI to track cybercriminals and organized online crime rings, eventually becoming the CISO for American Eagle. During this time, she served as the first co-Director of a non-profit, the Merchant Risk Council, which taught companies how to combat online transaction fraud. She also served on the founding board of the National Cyber Forensics Training Alliance (NCFTA).
