New hardware accelerator picks diverse first group

After poring over more than 100 applications, AlphaLab Gear, the new hardware accelerator from Innovation Works, has picked a very diverse initial group of companies to work with.

Rich Lunak, president and CEO of Innovation Works, called that diversity a strength for the program.

“There is a peer learning element to this type of program that the teams can really leverage, so having such a diverse set of entrepreneurs makes a more robust experience,” he said.
